Race Results - Whale Tail Grudge Match 6/09/07
The race at Slot Car Magic Racepark featured six Whale Tails and three Ferraris. The final show down was between Phil's and Randy's Ferraris vs Kim's and Lenard's Whale Tails.
The likes of Keith and Evan struggled on the stock tires, but I think Phil was the only one who got them working in the end and the rest of them just couldn't get past him.
As you can see by the results it came down to a battle between Phil and Kim. Phil was trailing going into the final minute, but was able to pull ahead at the Chicane when 3 cars went through at the same time, Kim lifted off the accelerator just a fraction and Phil throttled ahead.
Of course, not all the drivers are quite up with Lenard's pace just yet, but we're pleased for Phil to get this victory under his belt.
Papa G and Keith are hoping for better results in the upcoming American Graffiti night where they hope to banish the frustrations of a poor season so far.
